Linotype needs good home

Linotype needs good home

The newspaper shop at the Independent News Herald in Clarissa has housed and used a linotype machine since anyone in our midst can remember. It was in operation until just a few years ago when it broke down and parts were not available, as far as we know, for its repair.

Needing extra space in our printing area, we would like to be able to move this massive machine to a new home. We are looking for options as we would like to be able to preserve this part of printing history somewhere in Minnesota if possible.

If anyone has any ideas, please e-mail ray@inhnews.com.
