Perham Focus, a division of Forum Communications Company, has an immediate opening for a Multi-media Sales Consultant. We are seeking motivated self-starters who want to join a team to sell marketing solutions to advertisers. These solutions include an array of print & digital options, special interest products, and so much more! This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who enjoys networking with area professionals and working in a fast paced and team oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
 Sell and provide full-service multimedia (print and online) advertising products and services to contract and non-contract accounts using a consultative sales process.
 Achieve revenue and active account goals on a regular basis.
 Prospect new business and service, retain and advance existing clients.
 Process ad copy in an accurate and timely fashion and be responsible for the insertion/placement of advertising.
 Maintain a positive relationship between accounts and newspaper by providing all services necessary to assure customer satisfaction.
 Make presentations to sell new or upgrade existing accounts.
 Respond sensitively to needs of accounts and maintain good working relationships with our customers by providing outstanding customer service.
 Maintain professional demeanor in dealings with business community, fellow workers and other departments within the newspaper.
 Assist sales department with advertising entry and reporting.
 Coordinate insert placement.
 Backup front desk duties on an as needed basis. Includes classified advertising and newspaper subscription sales, assisting walk-in and telephone customers and postal reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
• Sales experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Successful candidate will be well-organized and motivated to achieve objectives.
• Excellent written, verbal and telephone skills.
• Superior communication and customer service skills.
• Must possess a positive attitude.
• Internet knowledge and computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that is insurable by the Company.
