Scoop the Newshound
"Scoop the Newshound", a newspaper recycling coloring/
activity book is available for your use from the Minnesota
Newspaper Association.
The coloring book makes a great hand-out for kids touring
the newspaper plant or as an educational supplement to
Newspaper In Education programs.
Scoop is a happy-go-lucky pooch who delivers the important
message that the newspaper industry is a leader in newsprint
recycling.
The artwork for the book was created by Rich Pine, an editorial
cartoonist from Illinois who donated the artwork to the Illinois
Press Foundation.
Please share "Scoop" with the children in your local community.
We do ask, however, that you do not use the artwork in commercial
advertising other than your own newspaper promotion.
