2014 Daily Newspaper Meeting
September 25, 2014 - September 26, 2014
$99.00Event Navigation
Presented by the Minnesota News Media Institute, in partnership with the Minnesota Newspaper Association and our local host, the New Ulm Journal.
The annual MNA Daily meeting is always a participant favorite. Leaders from daily newspapers (and non-dailies too!) are invited to participate in this two-day summit. The program will kick off Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with a tour of the “House of Print” facilities where the New Ulm Journal is printed. The afternoon will feature lively and interactive discussions focused on revenue, innovation and current best practices in advertising, editorial and management. Returning again this year will be the popular Daily Meeting Idea Exchange. Prizes will be awarded to the participant who brings the best idea from the past year. Thursday evening will feature a “Taste of New Ulm” progressive dinner (yes, Schell’s beer will be featured). MNA Attorney Mark Anfinson will join the meeting Friday morning to provide a legal update for attendees. The meeting will adjourn by noon on Friday, with an optional private tour of the historic Schell’s brewery available at 12:30 p.m.
