The Marshall Independent is looking for jack-of-all-trades type of reporter: someone who can cover a school board meeting during the week and cover a football game on the weekend. The reporter will work closely with the sports editor to develop game coverage and features that include outdoor activities. The successful candidate will also quickly post stories online and use social media tools to develop, distribute and enhance stories.
