The Journal of New Ulm, a six-day-a-week daily, is seeking a news editor to help lead its newsroom. We are looking for someone with two or more years of reporting or editing experience, who has a keen news sense, can coach our reporters as well as edit copy and has experience with page layout. Will coordinate daily paper production as well as special sections. Strong knowledge of AP style, along with excellent grammar and spelling skills is required. Experience with InDesign, Photoshop a plus.
